The Student Worktext gives students an opportunity to practice isolated word reading fluency before applying the skills they’ve learned in connected texts. Day 2 also features another opportunity for students to practice fluency and apply learned skills in their Student Worktext.

Alphabet Books Teach Concepts of Print

The Alphabet Books are visual little books that help build concepts of print, alphabet knowledge, and oral language and help prepare students for the Magnetic Readers.

The Alphabet Books are a great whole class or small group resource connecting to the previous day's learning.
