Accelerate Student Learning with Fully Scripted Routines

A fully scripted, completely manageable structure begins here on Day 1 and then repeats on Day 3. This session includes practice of phonological awareness for a few minutes each day to help students distinguish different speech sounds. Students begin thinking about word parts with the Listen Up! warm-up.

Alphabet Tales

Fluency Practice Occurs Every Day!

Alphabet Tales allows Grade K students to enjoy engaging, fun stories and rhymes, with whimsical illustrations as they learn about each letter of the alphabet. Day 1 also includes a great opportunity for students to apply what they've learned to a text—here, it's the Alphabet Tales Big Book.

Students develop listening skills using Alphabet Tales. They practice by listening for words beginning with the focus letter.

Illustrations help students identify animals mentioned in the text.
