Unique to Magnetic Reading Foundations, Duet Passages provide an entry point for all students to read texts. Through a shared reading experience, students learn to decode one word at a time and slowly build to short phrases and sentences.
Each unit is organized around a topic, and beginning in Unit 4, students read three texts on that topic each week—two decodable Connected Texts and one decodable Magnetic Reader.
