Formula Grants:
Title I, II, III, IV, IDEA

Federal formula or “Title” grants are non-competitive—each state receives a portion of the funding based on a formula. States in turn pass the funding on to local districts and schools. Federal grants can be an important source to support Curriculum Associates’ research-proven assessment and instruction solutions.

Title I, Part A:
Ensure All Students Meet Challenging State Academic Standards
Federal Title I, Part A formula funding supplements state and local funding to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity for a high-quality education and can meet state academic achievement standards.
Districts use the funds to support schools with the highest percentages of students with socioeconomic disadvantages. Our assessment and instruction solutions provide educators with data to inform student placement decisions, offer explicit instructional advice, and prescribe resources for targeted instruction and intervention.

Title II:
Support High-Quality Teachers and Leaders
Federal Title II, Part A grants help schools and districts increase student achievement by building the capacity and efficacy of highly qualified teachers and leaders.
Through ongoing, data-driven, and classroom-focused professional learning, educators refine their practice and enhance their effectiveness. In our professional learning courses, educators learn carefully developed practices to help them optimize the use of our programs from day one and drive student growth.

Title III:
Support the Academic Achievement of English Learners
Title III provides funding to help districts supplement their English language instruction programs. The goal is to enhance the capacity of educators as they work with English Learners and improve their proficiency with grade-level content. We recognize the many assets English Learners bring to the classroom. Ensuring their success with rigorous grade-level content is our priority and guides our product development.

Title IV, Part A:
Leverage Technology to Advance Students’ Academic Achievement
The goal of Title IV, Part A, also known as the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) program, is to improve students' academic achievement by increasing school district capacity to provide all students with access to well-rounded educational experiences, improve school conditions for student learning through safe and healthy initiatives, and increase access to personalized, rigorous learning experiences supported by technology.
