Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program is a federal grant dedicated to supporting out-of-school time such as before- and after-school and summer learning programs. The grants provide for local community learning centers to offer enrichment and academic programs for students, especially those who attend low-performing schools. The goal is to help students meet state standards, while also providing activities for enrichment.

Comprehensive Literacy State Development
The Comprehensive Literacy State Development program is a federal, competitive grant award to help states enhance Grades K–12 students’ literacy skills through the use of evidence-based practices, activities, and interventions. The focus is on supporting students who live in poverty, are English Learners, or who have disabilities.
